Mary – We were just talking about you tonight and thought we would drop you a note. It’s been a busy week back at work but the buzz continues!! Daniel was talking with friends about everything and the one consistent strand in all of it – they loved the ceremony you led. The opening you did for us was really beautiful and the guests could see the comments were heartfelt and genuine. It’s such an honor and a blessing to meet and connect with you. XOXO, Brian and Daniel
db: You are most welcome… it has been an over-the-top experience to be a part of your life. And I love that we are still making plans for more mischief! XOXO right back. ~Mama
Dave and I are back from our wonderful honeymoon to Bora Bora & Moorea and settling into married life.
I just wanted to take a minute to thank you once again for helping craft such a lovely ceremony. I will remember and cherish it always. Several people commented afterwards about the moving and thoughtful words of the ceremony – Dave and I whole-heartedly agree. It was beautifully written and presented.
Here are a few picture from the ceremony (photographer Victor Zerga)

It was a year of dedicated planning for Chad and Meagan to pull off the ideal wedding. And worth all the effort. I so applaud these two for being true to themselves every step of the way. Newcastle Golf Club hosted this fabulous do. Holly Patton with Perfectly Posh Events was our fearless leader. The surprise of the night was Meagan’s college dance team putting on a floor show with the bride! Fabulous! Their sweet note to me:
Dear Mary, We cannot thank you enough for being a part of our special day. From the moment we met we knew there was no one else we could have hoped for to help make this journey and day as special as you have done. From the wonderful dinner at your house to all of your kind emails, care, love and attention, you have put into us, it has meant the world to us and we thank you with our whole hearts. You have helped us arrive to this day with peace, love, excitement and bravery, and for that we will always be grateful. Love, Meagan and Chad
Meagan and Chad – I love being part of your journey!
It was a different year for the Seattle Bride Magazine “Best Of” awards. They changed the voting process (for the better, I believe) and at end of the day, as colleagues, we were asked to weigh in on one another. So this year, I am overly grateful (and humbled) to receive this award. We have such a talented, big-hearted and hardworking community. So thank you. I am honored that you think I deserve this. I will continue to take good care of our shared clients. Many thanks for my clients/friends that voted in the first round!!! I am so blessed!
What fun to open by my front door last week for a flower delivery! Such a beautiful spring bouquet from Andrea and Steven. And such sweet words: Hi Rev. Mary! How can we ever forget you? A small lady with a big heart! We can’t thank you enough for everything you did! Space to write here is not enough to convey our gratitude. Love, Andrea and Steven
(Ellie, my recently adopted kitty likes them too!)
Mother’s Day is not just for those of us that have raised children. It is a day for celebrating the women that caretake, cuddle, soothe and live their life with compassion. It is for the big-hearted creatures that show us how to love unconditionally. The ladies that walk this planet that are strong enough to care for the unloveable. The females that model to us how to live peaceful, graceful lives of harmony empowered by self-love. To these women I sing my praises. This photo is a Mother of the Bride from a recent wedding, her name is Diana. She is as lovely as she appears. And a warrior. Diana is battling cancer and winning. She is a hero to many of us. Happy Mother’s Day to all Nurturers, Heroes and Mamas among us!!! This photo was taken by talented photographer Carol Harrold.
