Roni and Becky were married in 2006 at the Lake Union Cafe – and it was a such a memorable wedding. Their handsome son Asher joined us in 2011 and now we welcome Caroline True, born on February 22, 2014. Congratulations to Becky and Roni and their families!
Both of Conner’s parents, Shirin and Josh, are ecstatic about his arrival this past January. He has been blessed with two exceptional parents and such doting grand-parents. Conner is so beautiful! Congratulations to you all.
I officiated at Aria’s parent’s wedding in December, 2007. It is a wedding I don’t believe that I could ever forget. It was intimate and sweet and the room was filled with laughter. So it seems only right that this angel is smiling! Congratulations to Rebecca, Andrew and brother Zane! Thanks for sharing your news! She is lovely.
It is always a great day when I find in my post box a baby announcement. Meet Cooper, who was over 9 pounds and looks like he has the hair of a 14 year old. Mother, Amy and father, Dustin (I did their wedding in 2011) are so in thrilled. Congratulations – and I so look forward to watching him grow up!
So sweet! Congratulations to Mama, Lisanna and Dad, Carter! (I did their “Surprise” in July of 2006.)
This is Big Sister Audrey with Little Sis Savannah. So happy for you ALL!
Emma Frances made a big splash March 7th on a snowy afternoon in New York City. When two people plan their “Big Day” in the world of weddings, it is hard to imagine other days, filled with as much joy, love and gratitude. As the journey continues, exceptional days of miracles follow. Wishing Jennifer, Christine and Emma many more BIG days on their journey together! (To read about Jennifer and Christine’s fabulous Four Seasons Hotel Wedding see post from May 31, 2011)
Isn’t she lovely? Born in January of this year to Rachel and Erik – and big brother Tor. The look on Tor’s face is priceless! This is one of the many perks of my profession. There are no words to describe the joy I feel when I receive a photo like this! Thank you Erik and Rachel – I add this to the many beautiful photos that you have shared with me over the years. I so enjoy being on this adventure with you!
This is one of the finest perks of my job – meeting up again with my couples in their lovely homes and celebrating the birth (and birthday) of their children. Jennifer and Mathew’s parents and grandparents flew in from great distances to honor Cecilia’s first birthday and partake in her Baby Blessing last week. It was enchanting for me to meet Cecilia and enjoy a reunion of family and friends. “The Village” was complete when we set up a long distance Skype with Grandpa!
It has been a few years since I have seen Tara and Robert at JM Cellars on their wedding day. So our recent reunion, that included their parents, was especially sweet. This is Mason on his first birthday with a very grand cupcake that his mother had prepared just for him! It was a precious Baby Blessing ceremony where we all contributed our loving wishes – both verbally and in a keepsake book Tara had prepared. These rituals are divine because we truly raise a child as a community. Mason is a well-loved child…oh so blessed!
There is a very sweet little celebration afoot. In about a month a reunion will take place with one new element: Baby Harper! As we plan this precious Baby Blessing (with her Godparents, Grandparents, Aunties, Uncles, friends and neighbors) her parents Heather and Warren are getting a little giddy. And why not? We have waited a long time for this little angel to find us. The challenges, at times, were a bit overwhelming. But here we are… beside ourselves. And by the looks of it so is Harper!
