Place Card Holder – Divine Idea!

As anyone that has ever planned a wedding knows, the table seating task is a challenge.  And once you have sorted out just who is sitting with whom – how does one display the cards so that guests are able to easily retrieve their name cards and find their table? Kerra from A Divine Event brainstormed this brilliant design and then had to convince her father to help her build it!  It not only saves a LOT of space – it is classically beautiful as well.  Bravo Kerra!  PS:  love the tiny clothes pins!

Heavenly Celeste

To try to capture this ethereal creation through a camera lens is almost senseless!  It was a such a joy to be able to have this vast sculpture gracing the altar area at a recent wedding at Sodo Park.  Celeste Cooning is the talented artist that created this canopy reminiscent of angel wings!  I love how the light danced through the slits of cut paper and cast shapes on the floor.  Find Celeste by clicking on her name!

Meet Katy Griffiths

Katy is one of my favorite event planners here in the Seattle area.  This is a photo of her looking stunning at a rehearsal we teamed up for last Friday at the Woodmark Hotel.  Always calm, quite prepared and constantly smiling – that’s Katy!
