Her Bridal Party was made up of old friends and close relatives. Their histories have created a woven bond that was more than apparent on Kari’s wedding day. Here we are at Kelly’s Farm in Bonney Lake – a pristine setting that encourages a relaxed gathering. And it was great to see Eric and Cali from Corliss Photography again. Old home week!
From Kari: Thank you so much for officiating our wedding. It was beautiful, and everyone has told me how much they love you, and how beautiful they thought our ceremony was at the Farm. I am so thankful. Thank you for all of your love, support, and encouragement. I will definitely keep in touch. Have a great week!
When Nadia contacted me two days before the wedding to say that she had decided to sing a SURPRISE song to her groom, Pawel, I must admit that I was a bit in awe. Nadia had arranged to have a Spanish guitar player at the ready. When the moment came, she was one calm performer! And WOW – what an amazing voice and heartfelt song she did sing. Pawel was in shock and so touched. I noticed that most the guests were tearing up. Here is Nadia after the photos were taken and before her wedding enjoying a snack to boost her energy. Bravo you two – hope that your life together is full of many more delightful surprises!
Sammy and Michael: They are so impressive! Every wedding has their glitches: some little, some big. For this wedding, it was a sweet grandmother that took a spill just before the wedding. We all had to rally and make the best of the day. The good news is that Grandma is doing well, Sammy and Michael are back from honeymoon in Paris and London and they are well on their way to moving to L.A. to pursue their careers. Best of luck to you both! From Lori’s mother a day after the wedding: Thank you so much for being there in her time of need….you were a rock.
Lord Hill Farms was the perfect backdrop for Christy and Josh – they are so fun loving. Their wedding day was the ideal blend of elegance and rural/ease. It was a day they had worked hard to create and the result was a concoction of fun, festivity, friends and family. Christy looked sensational in her champagne beaded gown. And the fall theme was maximized with their choice of dramatic accents: purples, oranges, yellows peppered everywhere. Applause was heard throughout the building when two of Josh and Christy’s friends sang “The Prayer” in both Italian and English. (Andrea and Celine would have been impressed!) It was truly powerful.
Here’s Josh, always funny and unfailingly supportive, looking handsome and quite enjoying his wedding day. It inspired me that Josh and Christy both wrote and read “surprise” wedding vows to one another during the wedding. The words were not only sweet – but sincere, and sometimes funny. Once again creativity captures the day!
HR Northwest Photography (Heather and Ryan Shipley) were on hand to catch the happenings with their charming and easy manner.
Christy spray painted fall gourds and then sprinkled them with glitter. The result was so whimsical that it had many of us snapping photos. Large white pumpkins were carved with intricate designs and displayed on the main buffet tables among tall candlesticks.
I had the pleasure of working for the first time with DJ Darrell Christel. He wowed me with his equipment and his truly caring professionalism.
Christy and Josh…I know that your life will be full of teamwork, respect and most of all your deep friendship.
