What a busy-crazy-fun year for these two! Tony is focused on his medical training at the UW and Blayne is knee-deep in the world of weddings. She has made time to design and produce her own ENGRAVED invitation! We had a dinner date recently to catch up on life, love, and their Big Day in May at Ray’s Boathouse. These two met in high school eight years ago… so this is one of those “At Last” weddings. Patience has been their constant companion.
Marc and Kirsten decided to return to the place that they first met when it was time to select a wedding venue. They were both employees at the Woodmark Hotel where Kirsten was a chef and Marc is on the front desk team. I so admire that they are canning jam for the party favors for their wedding… SPREAD THE LOVE!!! It is always a bit daunting to cook for a chef – but Kirsten made it comfortable when she announced that she loved my homemade bread.
The chemistry when Christine and Ryan’s family and friends came together was electric! With more than 70 combined married years of their parents, we basked in the luxury of two close families. I was included in all of the events for the week and it was simply enriching. Christine and Ryan’s histories go back over a decade – and it all turned out as it should… with an amazing reunion of happy well-wishers – mostly from the great state of Indiana! It was a perfect day at the Four Season’s Hotel.
When I first met them in January of 2011, June of 2012 seemed like a long way away. So here we are at our planning meeting for their upcoming wedding wondering where the time has gone! The Arctic Club will our venue under Katy Griffiths (Vows Event Planning) capable guidance. The details are vast and the theme is FUN! Drew and Tricia are ecstatic and just can’t wait. Me too!
I just love this photo of my smiling bride. Danielle’s twinkle is the pure essence of what a wedding day is all about. JOY. Pure and simple. And why not? She and Chris took great care to select a wonderful team – to whom they happily entrusted the countless details that were so important to them both. And the ambiance mirrored back to them the essential facets that meant most. After all the decisions are made and in play – the last piece of the vision is always the guests. This truly is a key factor in the synergy of the day. And on this group, Chris and Danielle’s finely crafted scheme was NOT wasted. The Bride and Groom brought together a lifetime of jubilant friends to share their divine happiness! Special thanks to Heather Perera of Paprika Events, Michael Benson and Garden Party.
The Salish Lodge is ALWAYS an ideal choice for the TRULY romantic! Teri and Kevin have journeyed to this hide-away for years. This is where Kevin popped the question and this is where their nearest and dearest gathered recently to witness their sweet vows. Teri attached her grandmother’s brooch to her bouquet, her sons Ryan and Joey escorted Teri down the aisle and Kevin brought in his darling mother, Chris. Our handsome groom just couldn’t keep his eyes off his beautiful bride. (It seems to me the most romantic among my clients get married near Valentine’s Day!) The feast that followed was a foodie’s heaven! Thanks you two for allowing me the honor of sharing this most wonderful day with you.
Reverend Mary ~ Just wanted to thank you again. We received so many compliments on your service. You are very special to us, and I hope that we can continue to keep in touch with you.
I will send you a couple pictures as soon as we get them.
Thank you again, Teri and Kevin
They wanted simple and memorable. Done and done. Well, somehow “Magical” crashed the party!
An easy, kicked back affair sprinkled with a candy buffet, two very loving families and luscious flowers from Down to Earth Floral in Snoqulmie. Salish Lodge and Spa with Wedding Angel Katrina…ahhhhh!
Elegant, intimate, easy. A day, that when I think about it, I smile again. Oh so memorable!
Kevin and Kasie – your ability to keep things simple will serve you so well in your life together!
