“V” Squared

VVMVince and Vanessa spend most of their time on airplanes traveling for work. So they had a great wedding week reconnecting with their dear family and close friends.  Willows Lodge hosted this fun-loving crowd.  TWO grand pianos were brought in for their magnificent reception. Our processional consisted of 25 adults, three children, one wagon and Keegan the Ring Dog!  A parade indeed.  Such a beautiful day, lots of stories were shared with plenty of laughter to follow.  It is  gratifying to see a couple’s vision play out according to their wishes.

Neka and Jeremy, Thunder and Lightening!!!

NkaJrmWBecause they live in Virginia (where Jeremy is a military pilot) we couldn’t really meet face to face until just a few days before their wedding at Willows Lodge.  And regardless of the thunder and lightening (with all of our guests helping to move the wedding inside to the Library) we had a JOYFUL celebration!   It was a  spontaneous ” mixer’ where guests were able to “break the ice”  before the reception!!!

Misty and Patrick – Full Circle!

These two have known each other since they were in high school.  They dated “way back when” and then went their separate ways.  Thanks to social media Misty and Patrick were able to reconnect. It will be an intimate group that gathers in July to finally witness the vows of Patrick and Misty.  Willows Lodge in Woodinville will host us in their beautiful garden area under the gazebo.  At long last, it will be set right.

Lindsey and Bryce

When a couple contacts me and tells me that their venue is  Willows Lodge in Woodinville, I am certain of one thing.  They want a stress free, soothing day.  Okay, two things.  There will be intimacy.  Bryce and Lindsey are the perfect couple to enjoy this ambiance.  We will perform the wedding in the gazebo- a sunny day full of smiles (like these). Don’t we just love Seattle in August?  These two University of Washington Alums will have their “dog” friend cheering for them.   And I love the thought that Grandparents Mary Lou, Vern, Noreen, Ralph, Jerome and Jeanette will be on hand to bless the couple as well.  (I always fall in love with the grandparents!) It was great catching up with you at dinner, Lindsey and Bryce.  August will be here in a blink.

Fabulous and Fun Wedding Show

I had such a good time with other Wedding Vendors at Willows Lodge yesterday for Weddings in Woodinville – a showcase of dedicated vendors where Bridal Parties are shuttled from venue to venue by Butler Valet. Couples sip, nibble treats and meet the hard working “behind the scenes” vendors that make the event look seamless.

Here is my cozy station at Willows Lodge, where Jenn Wenman hosted a gracious event.  I met so many Brides, Grooms and their supportive  families and friends – and everyone seemed to be having such a great time!

I really enjoyed getting to work with  Eric from Hybrid Moon Video (hybridmoon.com) , Jennifer with Creative (inspired invites and paper creations), Tanya Stone with her romantic floral arrangements (Elements in Bloom) and Laura Marchbanks talented wedding photographer.  Special thanks to Jen Taylor from Taylor’d Events who helped pull us all together for the day!
